In March and April of this year I had 3 basal and 1 squamous cell lesions surgically removed from my face and neck.

Living in both NYC and North NJ, I had tried other derm offices over the years but found frustrating wait times and results. Happy to travel 1.5 hours to Kuflik Dermatology.
It's an extremely professional practice, which has grown impressively - I was in the Toms River office this past week and forgot how large it is - and clearly Dr. Avery and team are on top of their game. Dermatology can often be a "try this and see" approach but I find that the staff here work hard and spend the time to make a solid diagnosis.
Incidentally, I knew the price on one of the procedures was already high, because I'd had the same work done elsewhere a couple years ago. This bill I'm looking at is 5X that high quote.
I've been coming to Kuflik Dermatology for 5 years now and the clinical team is one of the best I've ever seen. The office staff are genuine, sweet people who care about your experience. I would highly recommend choosing Kuflik Dermatology for your skin care needs.

If you choose to work with this outfit, either have everything in writing, or record all your conversations. Perhaps a safer bet is to do both.

Dr Julianne Kuflik is a wonderful and caring doctor. She takes her time and explains all procedures. I never feel rushed when I meet with her. The entire staff from the front desk to the nurses are all extremely friendly and kind. I recommend this place to everyone.

I was very pleased with the result- even now the scars are barely noticeable. From the first encounter with the staff; reception, nurses, PA's etc I found them to be competent, caring and efficient. The wait time was minimal; appointments were carefully honored. Precautions were taken to prevent infections both before and after the procedures and medical conditions were part of the planning.
BTW Coffee, juice and crackers would be a delightful and appreciated add on while waiting for biopsy results.
Very disappointing! I was extremely careful to inquire about the cost of a couple procedures before giving my OK. Two months after the fact, I am being billed 5X what I agreed to.
