This was my first time in a BNB so I wasn't sure what to expect. I did a little research and looked at photos and it looked like a nice one. When I arrived I was so excited. It was more than I had expected. The decor in the Summer House was absolutely lovely. White wicker and lace! I couldn't ask for prettier place to stay. In the morning I was escorted to the beautiful dining room to feast on a delicious home cooked breakfast. The Inn keeper, Candy and her assistant, Claudette were so warm and hospitable. They spent time talking to me about where to go and what to see. I couldn't ask for a better place to go for a little get away. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint, relaxed and fabulous place to stay.
The Beacon House has lots of character, AND is really clean. Convenient to beach, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

I never write reviews and have been meaning to write this review for a while. Candice and her staff at the Beacon House gave my wife and I the best experience that we have had in a very long time (due to back to back pregnancies). Candice runs an absolutely amazing B&B, with rooms/amenities/location that are to die for. As a military member, my wife and I don't make it back home to the Shore very often, and when we do it's not necessarily a break when traveling with 2 little ones. Since the Parker House is one of our favorite places to go whenever we're home (especially before having kids), we always talked about how awesome and unique the Beacon House seemed. Last summer, my parents demanded the spend some time alone while they spent some alone time with the kids, so we booked a room at the Beacon House and gave it a shot. This was the best decision we could have ever made! Candice, with her warm and inviting personality, continued to keep in contact from the time we booked a room in order to make sure we had all the information needed to make the most of our stay. Upon arrival, she was kind enough to upgrade us to a beautiful room in the big house since it was fairly quiet the night that we stayed. While we were only there for one evening, it felt like a week! The hospitality and professionalism of Candice and her staff are among the best in the industry. I highly endorse Candice and recommend a stay at the Beacon House! The experience worth the every penny!
